ECO4 Funding
ECO4 is a government-backed funding program designed to help homeowners and renters across Great Britain improve their homes’ energy efficiency—at little to no cost. As the fourth phase of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, ECO4 focuses on reducing carbon emissions, tackling fuel poverty, and making homes more affordable to heat. Running from April 2022 to March 2026, this £4 billion initiative provides grants that can cover up to 100% of the costs for essential energy-saving upgrades, including:

Funded by energy companies as part of their commitment to reducing fuel poverty, this program provides vital upgrades to make homes warmer, greener, and more affordable to run.
Eligible households can benefit from a range of free energy-saving improvements, including:

✅ Free loft, cavity, and solid wall insulation
✅ Free renewable energy installations (such as solar panels and air source heat pumps)
Who Qualifies for ECO Flex?
To ensure support reaches those who need it most, eligibility is based on specific criteria, including:
✔️ A household income cap of £31,000
✔️ Living in a property with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E, F, or G
Eco Medical Funding Route
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) grant scheme, now in its ECO4 phase, provides funding to improve home energy efficiency—specifically for individuals whose health conditions are worsened by living in a cold home. This initiative helps cover the cost of essential upgrades, including:

Great British Insulation Scheme

By targeting the least energy-efficient homes in Great Britain, this initiative helps reduce energy bills, tackle fuel poverty, and create warmer, more comfortable living spaces. Administered by Ofgem, the scheme runs from April 2023 to March 2026.
What Does GBIS Cover?
Eligible households may receive free insulation upgrades, including:

Who Qualifies for GBIS?
